The decisive stage

Why hire me to prepare for and attend your interview?

You cannot focus on answering stressful questions while also monitoring the legal significance of everything happening in the room. I can.

The USCIS interview is the decisive final stage before the agency makes its decision. After investing so much in your case, this is not the time to leave things to chance.

Spot problems before the interview

Immigration forms may look simple, but they are legal documents. I review everything previously submitted, identify inconsistencies, and prepare written amendments when necessary.

Bring your real story, not a performance

For a marriage-based interview, USCIS is looking for a genuine relationship, not a one-size-fits-all version of what a couple should look like. I help you recognize and communicate the specific, truthful details that make your relationship yours, trust your story, and show up authentically.

Tell your truth clearly under pressure

We prepare for difficult topics and use breathwork and grounding techniques so nerves are less likely to make you rush, freeze, or misunderstand what is being asked.

Turn an overwhelming file into a clear presentation

I help you select and organize the right evidence, prepare photographs and supporting materials properly, and know which original documents to bring.

Respond to the unexpected in real time

I recognize legal and procedural issues as they arise, clarify confusing questions or misunderstandings, and advocate for you without creating unnecessary tension.

Bring experience and accountability into the room

After more than a decade preparing clients for and representing them at USCIS interviews, I understand how these rooms work, how to build respectful rapport, and when to listen, clarify, or step in. I also serve as an independent witness to what occurs.

An attorney cannot guarantee approval or prevent detention or another government action. But you do not have to face one of the most consequential stages of your immigration case alone.

* Additional work after the interview, including responses to USCIS notices or an unfavorable decision, requires a separate agreement and fee.

About Gilda

Experience, judgment, and a deeply human approach.

A first-generation American, Gilda Gazor understands personally what immigration can make possible. Her family’s journey through the U.S. immigration system helped make it possible for her to pursue the American dream and become a lawyer.

After earning her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her law degree from Southwestern Law School, Gilda began practicing law in 2008. Her background includes full-service immigration representation, complex waiver matters, immigration court, and complex civil litigation. She now brings that broad experience to preparing clients for and representing them at USCIS interviews.

Having lived in Iran, Spain, and France, Gilda understands what it means to adapt across languages and cultures. She is fluent in Spanish and Persian and speaks conversational French.

“We hired Gilda to prepare us and attend our immigration interview. From the beginning we had a video call with her where she helped my husband and I connect on a deeper level than we had ever connected before. We thought it was going to be a typical meeting with a lawyer, but it was so much more.

She was able to bring out our true love story and focus on all that we had to show USCIS. She gave us confidence through affirming words and taught us breathing and visualization skills to use before and after the interview.

Gilda eased our nerves and was right there with us on the day of the interview. Having her there before and during made all the difference in such a big moment in our lives. We highly recommend working with her and the financial investment is worth it.”

“My wife and I had a complicated green card case. Our applications had become separated, and our paperwork had moved between immigration offices. When my wife was invited to an interview, we did not know how to explain the situation.

A friend recommended Gilda. She reviewed our files and agreed to attend the interview with us. Gilda knew what she was doing and brought a calming presence to the room. When her help was needed, she explained the situation to the officer in just a few minutes.

The officer understood what had happened and decided to approve both of our green cards. We could hardly believe it.

Having a lawyer in the room is so important. It gives you confidence. We owe Gilda our endless gratitude!”

“When I first began working with Gilda, I was deciding whether to renew my green card or apply for citizenship. I had gone through my initial immigration process alone and remembered how stressful it was. With Gilda’s support, I decided to pursue citizenship—and I’m so thankful I did. With her help, I became a U.S. citizen.

Gilda guided me with clarity and patience and always knew how to reassure me when things felt overwhelming. Her calm, kind energy and wonderful sense of humor made the process much easier.

Having her with me at my interview gave me confidence. I knew that no matter what came up, she would help me understand it and support me through it. I felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire process.

I can’t recommend Gilda enough. If you’re thinking about working with her, do it—you’ll be in great hands.”
